About

Print & Tackle Co. is a family business in Eagle, Idaho, building toward a storefront that serves the Treasure Valley: filament and parts on the shelf, design and print work at the bench, and a repair counter for printers that have stopped behaving.

We are starting with the parts of that we can do properly today — design and CAD work, printing to order, printer repair, and goods we manufacture ourselves on our own machines.

Who is behind it

Mark runs the design, printing and repair side. He works in CAD professionally, has been printing for years, and does the diagnosis and repair work himself. The retail side is run by his wife, who spent her career in retail management, most of it as a store manager for national brands. It is a two-person business with a third pair of hands at the weekend.

Why a shop, and not just a website

Because the useful version of this is local. A spool of filament that arrives in two days is an Amazon order; a spool you can pick up this afternoon when a print fails at 2 a.m. is a different product entirely. The same is true of repair — a printer you can carry in beats a printer you have to box up and ship.

Where we are

Eagle, Idaho, serving the Treasure Valley. We are working toward a commercial location; until we have one, everything is arranged by email.

The name

Tackle is the gear you work with — tools, kit, the stuff on the bench. That is what we sell and that is what we fix.
